Combining emotional intelligence with lifestyle medicine offers a truly distinctive approach. While many programs focus on providing information—often incomplete or misleading—about necessary lifestyle changes to prevent chronic health conditions, they overlook a critical factor: emotional intelligence. It serves as the essential bridge between knowledge and action, addressing the gap where most individuals struggle to turn understanding into meaningful, lasting change.
From a personal perspective, over 17 years ago, after enduring the profound loss of my parents and all my siblings to chronic health conditions, I transformed my own health by adopting a lifestyle medicine approach, including transitioning to a plant-based diet. This shift reduced my cholesterol from 299 to 155, demonstrating the power of intentional lifestyle changes.
From a personal perspective, at my core, I am a scientist driven by curiosity and a teacher passionate about sharing knowledge. I am fueled by a relentless desire to address complex, persistent challenges that affect individuals and organizations, and my goal is to empower people to become the best versions of themselves.
